Period fountain pen signatures rate 7-7/8 out of 10 and the ball is very lightly toned with bold League stampings and some light scattered wear. The American League boasted a formidable lineup for the fourth All-Star Game ever played which took place at Braves Field in Boston with Joe DiMaggio becomming the first Rookie to appear in the now annual event.
