Description: 1976 George Foster professional model bicentennial bat with possible World Series attribution. Louisville Slugger 125 model P72 bat with Foster facsimile signature burned into the barrel along with the Bicentennial logo as used in 1976 exclusively. Measures 35" long and weighs 34.2oz with nice use throughout inclusive of ball and contact marks. Touch of grain swelling to barrel and there is a mild separation within the grain at (2) place. A vintage piece of trainer's tape wrapped around the upper handle has period ink notation of "October 17." Game (2) of the World Series was played that day and Foster went 1-4 with an RBI single.
