Description: Rare 1944 Bob Ferguson Cincinnati Reds professional model road jersey. Gray flannel jersey with "Cincinnati" lettered across the front has number "39" on back. "Goldsmith" manufacturers tag is in the collar and "44 2 '44" has been chain stitched in the front tail. This presumably denotes size, set number, and year. Usuage wear evident throughout along with some general ageing and a small moth hole on one of the front letters. No Health patch, or outline of one, is present. As is the case with all jerseys of this era, early flannels are rarely offered with this being the first Reds example we have offered in some time.
