Description: *UPDATED DESCRIPTION* 1948 Bryan Stephens St. Louis Browns professional model road jersey. Gray flannel zipper front jersey has "Browns" team name lettered across the front and number "59" on back, a change from it’s original which was likely done in the period, by the team. "Rawlings" manufacturers tag appears in the collar along with "Dry Clean" and size "44" tags. Chain stitch embroidered on the front tail is "Stephens 48." The zipper has separated from the body of the jersey in a small area below the neckline and the pull is no longer attached (the original will be included). A nice example for display of this highly sought after style which retains fine display qualities.
