Description: 1927 Pie Traynor presentational wristwatch - Pirates National League Championship season. Longines brand watch has been engraved on back of the casing, "Presented To Capt. Harold Pie Traynor, Pittsburgh Pirates, by Somerset Progressive Ass'n, July 23, 1927." Traynor and the Pittsburgh Pirates were in the midst of a Championship season and would go on to play the New York Yankees in a now fabled World Series. Mild use and general age wear with what appears to be the original band that is marked, "AW 14K" on the closure: EXEstimated Price Range: ($1,000-$1,500)
