Description: Steve Carlton autographed c.1988 professional model glove. Rawlings Gold Glove Series right handed model PRO 76-VC glove has slightly faded "Lefty" notation on outer thumb. In addition, the number "38" is written in similar marked on the Velcro closure wrist strap. Strong usage wear evident throughout and he has signed the glove, "Steve Carlton HOF 94" in marker rating 9/10 out of 10. When originally offered the glove was accompanied by a letter on "329 Game Winner Sports Management" stationary (Carlton's representatives) which notes that it is game used and was the last one which Carlton had retained possession of (signed by a Carlton business associate). The original has been misplaced but a full sized printed copy will be included. Fine piece of game equipment with direct ties to the Hall of Fame career of a (300) game winner and modern era pitching icon. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions and copy of additional letter: EX
