Description: Lonnie Smith autographed Philadelphia Phillies professional model jersey c.1977-1978. Desirable powder blue zipper front jersey having stylized "P" logo on left front chest and "27" player number at right. Number also appears on back below "Smith" nameplate. Chain stitch embroidered strip tag in collar reads "Smith" and additional "40 77 2" tag on front tail denotes size, year, and set number. Above is a "Wilson" with the size, "40." Signed in blue marker rating 8 out of 10 and inscribed "80 World Champs." Evident usage and wash wear throughout with light soiling. Smith did not debut with the Phillies until 1978 but it is possible that this jersey was prepared in 77 in the event that he was called up. Highly sought after style.
