Description: Fine football decorative folk art smoking stand c.1920s. Oversized carved and hand painted wooden smoking stand depicting a figural uniformed football player looking up to catch a ball. Impressive total height of 33" tall retaining its original painted surface on both sides atop a wooden plinth style base. with very fine patination. Some scattered surface wear to the painted surface including two vertical drip stains near top of one side.
