Description: Late 1980s Brian Sochia Miami Dolphins professional model helmet. Top of line VSR-1 model by Riddell with Dolphins logos applied at either side has team color accents and player number "70" decals on back. Exceptionally strong usage wear evident throughout with deep scuffs, color transfer streaks, and some chipping to applique. Schutt brand facemask has similar wear. Retains the original interior padding along with (1) custom insert (possible that another has been lost) and the lower back portion has been secured with some duct tape (this could likely be removed however it has clearly been in place for some time). Number "70" is also written inside in black marker. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions and letter of provenance from the Cupon family: EXEstimated Price Range: ($400-$600)
