Description: Scarce baseball figural candy container c.1890-1900. Two piece candy container in the form of a figural 19th century baseball player wearing full uniform and holding wooden bat. 7" tall with painted bisque porcelain head and arms. Light surface wear to the head, arms, and feet including some minimal paint wear. Figure separates at the waist area to reveal the paper mache interior candy receptacle. One of only a scant few that we have encountered in twenty two years: EXEstimated Price Range: ($1,000-$2,000)
