Description: Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig professional model baseball bat display piece. Pair of Louisville Slugger 125 professional model baseball bats handsomely displayed in a shadowbox style frame with image of the two Yankees sluggers and a titled brass placard. Gehrig bat dates to the 1943-49 labeling period and measures 35" long weighing 305. oz. Model #G69 stamped on knob end with a restored handle crack: VG-EX. Ruth bat measures 35" long with 1921-31 labeling period weighing 37.6oz. Bat has some indentations to the back of the barrel with 35" stamped on knob end: VG-EX. Very fine display piece with similar visual appeal of Ruth and Gehrig game model bats.Estimated Price Range: ($3,000-$5,000)
