Description: 1972 Kansas City Royals professional model home uniform. Cream colored flannel jersey with “Royals” across the front in scripted logo font has player number “27” on back. Team logo patch appears on the left sleeve. Embroidered strip tag in collar reads “Set 1 – 72” and a “Wilson” manufacturers tag on front tail notes the size, “44.” Pants are similarly tagged (size 36) with “72-6-P36-24” and “Bunker” embroidered strip tags. These denote year, number, size, and inseam along with reference to Wally Bunker whom did not play with the team that year (had been rostered from 1969-71).
