Description: Red Schoendienst professional model baseball bat c.1965-68 (Managerial-era). Louisville Slugger 125 model baseball bat with Schoendienst facsimile signature burned into the barrel end measures 34" long and weighs 34.6oz. Model number "S262" is factory stamped into the knob which has appears to have numerous faded marker notations, the number "38" can be clearly seen on opposite end. Exceptionally strong usage wear throughout the entire surface inclusive of ball/transfer and red rack marks, grain swelling (some very minimal separation), and pine tar. Some additional surface wear (a touch of loss) blends with overall usage characteristics and has no effect on display value. Schoendienst, whom had recently retired from his Hall of Fame caliber career, lead the Cardinals to a World Series title in 1967 and the NL Pennant the following year.
