Description: 1976 Frank Robinson professional model bicentennial baseball bat. Louisville Slugger 125 model R182 baseball bat with Robinson facsimile signature burned into the barrel end measures 35" long and weighs 34.6oz. The bicentennial logo, as applied for use only in 1976, appears to the right of the centerbrand. Player number "20" is written on either end in period black marker and the bat displays light evident usage wear with a small crack in upper handle. Robinson was winding down a (21) year career which etched his name in record books as one of the game's All-Time Greats. Lauded from his first season (when he was named the 1956 NL Rookie of The Year) through to his last, a partial noting of awards and honors includes: a Gold Glove, the 1966 NL Triple Crown, a pair of regular season MVP awards and the 1966 World Series MVP and (14) MLB All-Star Game appearances.
