Description: Joe Mauer's 2008 MLB All-Star Game on-field used Player Placement Star. Original star shaped placeholder with "All Star Game Hall of Fame Celebration" titling along with Hall of Fame and MLB logos has "Joe Mauer" name lettered on at center. Used on field to denote Mauer's position for the ceremonies which took place just prior to the July 15, 2008 game at Yankee Stadium (and displays light expected surface soiling). The starting players for both teams were joined by more than (40) HOF Inductees. Tastefully displayed in 34.25" square frame with descriptive placard and a pair of commemorative coins inset (one of which contains infield dirt from Yankee Stadium).
