Description: Duffy Lewis Major League Baseball Lifetime Pass c.1930s. Desirable silver plated presentational piece as issued "in appreciation of long and meritorious service" to the game of baseball. Rectangular pass measures 2.75"x4.25" with ornate design and raised titling/lettering throughout front along with facsimile signatures of League Presidents Harridge and Frick. "Duffy Lewis" is engraved at center. Marked "Lambert Bros." on back and comes housed in original leather holder which also has Lewis' name impressed. Generally clean with a touch of light wear. Lewis, along with Harry Hooper and Tris Speaker, helped form the Boston Red Sox "million dollar outfield" and was a hitting threat often finishing within the top (10) in offensive categories.
