Description: Johnny Pesky's Boston Red Sox equipment trunk c.1940-1950s. Fine quality vintage leather and metal appointed trunk as used by Pesky while travelling with the Boston Red Sox. Retains its original "Preismeyer, St. Louis" metal labeling on side panel denoting its manufacture by the premier company in the period. "Johnny Pesky" painted on an end panel with several period Boston freight labels affixed to the body of the trunk. Interior features one side for hanging clothing with fitted drawers on the other.
