Description: Rare Knute Rockne football doll c.1928. Notably scarce composite jointed doll with its original Notre Dame style uniform as manufactured by the Sterling Doll Co. who also made the more prolific Red Grange doll of the same vintage. Doll head retains the majority of its original paint having a few areas of surface wear.
