Description: *Revised description* Rare Terry Bradshaw game-used Pittsburgh Steelers football helmet with direct team provenance c.1983-1984. MaxPro black helmet as worn by Bradshaw displaying classic Steelers logo on the right side panel only and retaining its original "12" uniform numeral decals on both front and back. Proper "NOC-SAE" Kineomatic-21 inset markings with decal overlay applied to the reverse along with additional MaxPro stampings. Interior retains its original padding and retains a 1983 NOC-SAE Recertified label. Portions of period original facemask clips remain attached and included for display is a color matched black metal facemask ("greed dot" variety of proper size). Tremendous use is visible throughout inclusive of numerous impact markings and surface abrasions/scratches. The offered helmet includes highly uncommon direct provenance to the Pittsburgh Steelers having been donated to the 1984 WQED "Lucky 13th Great TV" charity auction. Original dated 4/9/84 one page donation form indicates that the helmet was in fact game-used with the Pittsburgh Steelers listed as the donor. Bradshaw's legacy as one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history coupled with his iconic status in the Steel City provide exceptional demand for his game-used items with very few pieces of quality having direct provenance having entered the marketplace. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions and original 1984 donation letter from WQED: VG-EX
