Description: Fine Warren Spahn original portrait c.1961. Striking oil on canvas original painting of Spahn as presented to him in 1961 depicting a portrait view posed in Milwaukee Braves home uniform. 17"x23" in its original gilt decorated molded edge frame signed at lower right by artist which, although unclear, appears to read "Hollinger" or "Dillinger". The painting remains in outstanding original condition with exceptional usage of light depicting the glowing stadium lights at Milwaukee's County Stadium in the background.
