Description: Outstanding Cal Ripken Jr autographed and "Gamer" inscribed professional model baseball bat c.1983-1986 (PSA GU 9). Louisville Slugger baseball bat with Ripken Jr facsimile signature and model number "P72" impressed in the barrel measures 35" long and weighs 32.3 oz. Exceptional usage wear is evident throughout with many visible ball, stitch, and cleat marks. Transfer of ball markings can be seen on barrel which has slight swelling due to repeated contact. Ripken has signed the bat in gold paint pen ("Cal Ripken Jr") rating 9 to 9/10 out of 10 with "Gamer" inscribed below. His jersey number "8" appears on the knob in blue marker and a handle crack has been expertly repaired. Extremely desirable example dating to the earliest portion of his career and overall one of the best we have handled.
