Description: Baseball themed custom boardroom table and chairs. Substantive suite of modern furniture as commissioned and used by a former part owner of the Norwich, CT area Minor League baseball team. Table measures 41"x95" and stands approximately 30" tall supported by a pair of pedestals each made from a series of bats arranged in circular configuration. Table top is decorated with a pair of baseball fields centered at either end. Includes a total of (9) chairs being of (3) different designs. Norwich team logo adorns the back of (1) which was likely intended to serve as the head chair. Others are evenly split (4 each) between curved upper back which has incised baseball likeness and angled which has painted on baseball field. Chair legs are done in the form of baseball bats with back (2) of each accented at top with affixed green/white balls. Each has a base for seat cushion. Displays generally light to moderate wear consistent with use and there are a few splits to wood top which do not affect functionality. Interesting and unique grouping of furniture as both a usable item and for its folk art qualities.
