Ink signatures rate 6 to 8 out of 10 with a few lesser; 1979 dated personal check made payable in his hand to the Hall of Fame, signed by Sewell in ink rating 9 out of 10; and Rawlings W.White ONL ball signed on the sweetspot, "Joe Sewell H.O.F. 77" in ink rating 8 out of 10 with slight feathering.
