Description: Rare 1948-1949 Toleteros complete set of (168) cards. Exceedingly rare complete set of Toleteros cards featuring Cuban Winter League players with the bulk being sepia tone on thin cardboard like stock and (19) in photographic format. Includes important Rookie cards of Hall of Famers Willard Brown and Hilton Smith and other key cards including Pee Wee Butts, Francisco Coimbre, George Scales, and Tetelo Vargas. All cards are mounted to original period album pages (issued for purpose of housing set) which have in turn been laminated and spiral bound.
