Description: September 14, 1958 Bill Mazeroski Record Breaking Home Run baseball for a Pittsburgh Pirates second baseman. Moderately toned Giles NL baseball with evident use as hit by Bill Mazeroski for a home run in the second game of a double header played against the Chicago Cubs to establish a single season record mark of 19 home runs by a Pirates second baseman. This eclipsed the previous mark of 18 home runs as set by George Grantham in 1930. Ball is inscribed and notated as such on two separate panels by Mazeroski. Currently, the ball has not been autographed by Bill Mazeroski but would be facilitated if the winning bidder would choose to do so.
