Description: Ted Williams single signed baseball with extremely rare career related inscriptions. Rawlings B.Brown Official American League baseball has been signed on the sweetspot, "Ted Williams" in blue ink rating 9 to 9/10 out of 10. In addition, Williams has inscribed "Red Sox" below his signature, "Lifetime Average 344" on the panel above, and "Average .344" on the panel below. Ball has a few minute to small toning spots mentioned for accuracy (not visible when positioned for display). Williams signed balls bearing additional handwriting are extremely scarce. The pieces offered in this sale are some of the few we have seen or offered in over 20 years (inclusive of the handling of material from the Williams Estate).
