Original oil on canvas signed in fine point black marker rating 8 out of 10, "Mickey Mantle No.7" within the baseball rendered just off center. Also signed by the artist, "DeSimone" at upper left and numbered "2/10" (note - this is one of 10 paintings within a series, each of which is unique and showcases different imagery). DeSimone's work is noteworthy for his attention to detail and lifelike representations and has been exhibited at the Hall of Fame, Louisville Slugger Museum, and MCI Center.
