Description: Fine Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig autographed baseball. Horace Partridge “Official Partridge League” model baseball signed across the sweet spot by Babe Ruth and on a side panel by Lou Gehrig. Ruth signature presents in superb original condition rating 8 to 8 1/2 out of 10 displaying beautifully as single signed if so desired. Gehrig signed on side panel rates 6/7 out of 10 with some lightness to the top arcs of “L” and “G” which appears to be due to original skipping of the pen rather than age fading. The ball itself shows moderate age toning with some light evident handling/use wear prior to its signing including a few minor surface scratches and abrasions. Very strong example which is being offered for the first time publicly having been originally obtained at Fenway Park during a barnstorming game at which Ruth and Gehrig appeared.
