Description: Rare Leon "Goose" Goslin professional model baseball bat with direct family provenance c.1921-1931. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 35 1/2" long and weighs 37.5oz. stamped "L.Goslin" on the barrel end. Excellent use is visible including ball marks and grain swelling. The bat has had some professional restoration including a handle crack and to the end of the barrel to repair some relatively minor losses. Knob end features some interesting hand carved notches which appear to number eight in total. This particular bat originated directly from a member of the Goslin family and is being offered for the first time publicly. Very rare and desirable 1920-1930s era Hall of Famer game bat with primary source family provenance.
