Description: 1956 Eddie Mathews All-Star Game professional model baseball bat. Louisville Slugger 125 model baseball bat has "All Star Game Washington 1956" block lettered into the barrel end along with impressed Mathews facsimile signature. Model number "S2" has been stamped into the knob and the bat measures 35" long and weighs 31.4 oz. Fine example for display with no evident usage wear as relates to such a prominent Hall of Famer and key figure in mid 20th Century baseball. Mathews is universally regarded as one of the finest third baseman of all time and played in (12) All-Star Games representing the Atlanta/Milwaukee Braves.
