Description: 1998 New York Yankees World Series Champions 10K gold ring. Ranking as one of the finest baseball teams ever fielded, the 1998 New York Yankees amassed a Major League record (125) wins. Combining talent and chemistry they rolled through the regular season, won the AL title in (6) games over Cleveland, and swept the Padres to win the Yankees 24th Championship of the 20th Century. Original ring as presented to a Minor League affiliate team owner. Top face has a deep blue synthetic stone background with inset "NY" team logo. The logo is accented with (24) small stones and an additional (24) ring the interior of the beveled edge. Exterior is lettered, "1998 World Champions." Left shank has the team logo in relief with "125-50" record above and "Best Ever" below. Right has incised rendering of the World Series trophy set over Yankee Stadium and reads "Tradition" at bottom. "Collins" name is at top and the Interior band is marked, "Balfour 10K." Sized (13.5) ring weighs (30) grams. Little to no wear. Includes original wooden presentational box: NM
