Period fountain pen signatures rate 6/7 to 8 out of 10, averaging 7/8 to 8. Ball displays mild even toning with a hint of light scattered surface wear and has "1928" year identifier written on. Following a fabled campaign in 1927, the 1928 Yankees became the first team to sweep back-to-back World Series with a win over the St. Louis Cardinals in just (4) games.
