Description: "Auto-Play Baseball Game" c.1911 with photo instructional book and player coins. Large format wood bordered game board (17"x19") with applied strikes/balls and runs counters (each has movable metal arrow) and large central spinner which stops to point at a variety of possible outcomes. Game is played with a series of player "coins" (small metal rimmed cardboard pieces with player/name printed on) which rest (via a small hole at center) on pegs. Included are coins representing all (8) National League teams which come housed in their original box (light wear, scattered rust, box has split seams); original rule book (PR with heavy wear/chipping); and pictorial booklet which promotes the game and has printed pictures/facsimile signatures of the most noted member or manager of each team (American and National) highlighted by (10) Hall of Famers including Mathewson, Cobb, Wagner, McGraw, and Chance (VG/EX-EX, central page loose). Game board remains very well preserved with hints of scattered light wear; box lid has split seams and general wear/chipping with some fading to titling: Overall VG-EX
