Description: 1979 Baseball All-Star Game ring (at Seattle). The Kingdome hosted one of the more exciting All-Star Games of the time which ended in a 7-6 NL victory. It was the 50th playing of the mid-summer classic. Original ring as presented to Bob Wirz. Top face has central orange stone offset by (5) CZs at bottom and is lettered around the upper edge, "Baseball All Star." Left shank has large "50" at center with "Wirz" name bar above and "All Star Game" below. Right has the year "1979" in relief along with Mariners team name and logo. Interior band is marked "Balfour Quasar Plus." Ring is size 9 1/2 and displays a touch of light wear: EX/MT-NMEstimated Price Range: ($500-$1,000)
