Description: 1955 Bobby Thomson Milwaukee Braves professional model home jersey. Cream colored flannel zipper front jersey has "Braves" team name lettered across the front in logo font above their familiar Tomahawk logo. Below is the number "34" which also appears on back. Attractive Indian head logo patch appears on left sleeve and all red/black accent piping is intact. On the front tail is a "Wilson" manufacturer's tag with the size "46", a wash tag, and "55" chain stitch embroidered year strip tag. Evident usage and wash wear throughout with some light surface pilling. A few short seasons earlier Thomson had earned a place among baseball's immortals with his "Shot Heard Round The World" in the 1951 NL Playoffs. Fine all original example of the Braves classic style.
