Description: 1955 World Series Umpire's 10K gold presentational ring. Fine quality 10K gold ring presented to Lee Ballanfant in recognition of his on-field service during the 1955 World Series. Top face has inset .04 pt diamond at center of baseball field surrounded by garland and is lettered around the edge, "1955 World Series Umpire." Left shank has crossed bats and ball design with "Brooklyn" in banner at top and "Dodgers" team name at bottom. Right has the Yankees noted in somewhat similar design. Engraved on the interior band, "Lee Ballanfant" and stamped "Balfour 10K." Moderate evident wear with some areas slightly rubbed down. Unique offering as relates to one of the most celebrated World Series ever played in New York. Ring is size 8.5 and weighs (30) grams: EX/MTEstimated Price Range: ($5,000-$10,000)
