Description: Lee Mazzilli's personal 1986 New York Mets World series trophy. Original figural World Championship trophy presented to Mazzilli as a member of the New York Mets. The trophy stands 12" tall with Mets and Red Sox enameled World Series press pins in the center. Brass band encircling the base is inscribed, "World Series Champions New York Mets 1986 Lee Mazzilli". The trophy retains its original Balfour label under the base. The 1986 Mets were one of the more beloved teams of the decade, having ridden the amazing occurrence of Mookie Wilson's botched ground ball to the Championship.
