Original trophy as presented to Frank Torre in honor of the World Champion New York Yankees who defeated the Atlanta Braves in the 1996 World Series. High quality replica trophy of the same style as the Yankees actual World Series trophy featuring brass team pennants encircling central ball, crown, and press pin ornamentation. "Frank Torre 1996 World Series Atlanta Braves vs. New York Yankees" titling found on the brass band affixed to the base. 12" tall retaining its original Balfour labeling underneath. Minor incidental surface wear overall. One of the more memorable stories within the 1996 Yankees title run was that of Frank Torre receiving a heart transplant and subsequently watching tv from his hospital bed as his brother Joe Torre led the Yankees to the Championship.
