Description: Collection of Hiroshima Toyo Carp baseball items with relation to Warren Spahn. Grouping of materials bearing relation to Spahn's service as pitching coach for the Carp in the mid to late 1970s to include: Warm up jacket worn by Spahn having embroidered navy blue on white "C". Retains Descente emblem inside collar; Warm up jacket with "C" on front including (2) pairs of stirrup pants; (3) Japanese baseball publications including Carp yearbooks; "CBL" model ball signed by Japanese baseball team presumably the Carp; Numerous paper items including Spahn's original contracts with the Carp (not signed by Spahn, only Carp exec) Carp stationery with receipts; Several handwritten letters and postcards written by Spahn most of which are signed "Dad"; Tokyo Carp enamelwork tie bar; and Tokyo Carp souvenir metal lighter.
