Description: Warren Spahn 1968 Tulsa Oilers Pacific Coast League championship ring. Original ring as presented to Warren Spahn as manager of the PCL Champion Tulsa Oilers in 1968. Spahn took over the reigns of the Oilers in 1967 with the team finishing in 11th place. In 1968 they bounced back to win the PCL Championship and Spahn would go on to become the winningest manager in Oilers history. 10K gold ring features inset black onyx stone on top with "Pacific Coast Champions 1968" around the perimeter. One side panel displays crossed bat and ball motif with the other having Tulsa Oilers logo. Inscribed on interior ring band, "PCL Mgr. of the year" along with Jostens 10K hallmark. Outstanding original condition with minimal surface wear. Total weight .9oz., ring size is 10. Includes original photograph of Spahn pictured in Oilers uniform: NM
