Warren Giles NL baseball exhibits evident use, inscribed across the sweet spot, "327". The victory was Spahn's 18th of the 1962 season with a 7 to 3 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates. The victory propelled Spahn past Eddie Plank as the winningest left handed pitcher in Major League history a title which he still hold to this date with a total of 363 wins.
