Description: Fine Warren Spahn autographed professional model baseball glove c.1950-1960s. Rawlings Warren Spahn personal model glove as worn by Spahn retaining its original manufacturer's label on the leather back strapping. Left handed throwing model glove exhibits very fine evident use throughout while retaining its original surface and lacings. Patent No. 2629096 stamped on the back of the glove webbing denoting final approval dating of 1953. Signed on the interior, "Warren Spahn 363" in black sharpie. Documented Hall of Fame player gloves are widely regarded as the rarest and most desirable pieces of game used equipment within the hobby. The particular offered example is one of the most significant documented pitcher game worn gloves to have entered the marketplace and is being sold for the first time publicly.
