Description: Significant 1961 Warren Spahn Milwaukee Braves Most Valuable Player award plaque. Fine quality mahogany plaque as presented to Warren Spahn by the Milwaukee Chapter of the BBWAA having an applied engraved portrait of Spahn on the front along with baseball shaped garniture. Titled "Manning Vaughan Award" with additional brass placard having BBWAA emblem affixed. Dated January 9, 1962 as presented at the 9th annual awards dinner in Milwaukee.
