Description: Significant 1956 Warren Spahn Milwaukee Braves Most Valuable Player award plaque. Fine quality mahogany plaque as presented to Warren Spahn by the Milwaukee Chapter of the BBWAA having an applied engraved action pose of Spahn on the front along with figural baseball batter shaped garniture. Titled "Manning Vaughan Award" with brass placard having BBWAA presentation affixed. Dated January 28, 1957 as presented at the 4th annual awards dinner in Milwaukee.
