Description: Fine 1979 Pete Rose Philadelphia Phillies professional model home uniform. Red pinstriped jersey retains its original "P" logo on front with #14 on both front and back. "Rose" nameplate remains affixed to the verso with chain stitched strip tag inside the collar. Proper Wilson manufacturer's label affixed to the tail front with "79 3" year/set tag. Signed across the front, "Pete Rose 1980 World Champions" in blue sharpie. Matching pants retain their original Wilson tagging on interior waistband with additional strip tag having "Rose 79 3 25" chain stitching. Evident use and wash wear overall remaining in fine original condition having exceptional eye appeal. Pete Rose was instrumental in leading the Phillies to their World Championship in 1980 and is widely credited by many of his peers to have been the key element to that magical season and its success.
