Interesting one page handwritten letter as sent by Ashburn to Phillies President Bob Carpenter with content regarding his proposed salary for the 1952 season. Signed, "Sincerely Rich Ashburn" at the bottom. The lot also includes a player's contract as issued to Ashburn for the 1952 season signed by Carpenter but not Ashburn.
