Description: Historic 1933 Pittsburgh Pirates (Steelers) inaugural victory game program. Scarce original program as issued for game played on September 27, 1933 at Forbes Field between the newly formed Pittsburgh Pirates and the Chicago Cardinals. Game was won by the Pirates by a score of 14 to 13 as the first win in franchise history. The Pirates were the forerunner of the Pittsburgh Steelers and originated under sports promoter Art Rooney for $2,500. Program itself remains in good condition overall with some pencil notations on the interior including scoring information. Team photo of the Pirates and player information regarding both teams is present inside. General light handling with a vertical center fold line.
