Description: Unique Notre Dame football playbook c.1930-1931. Leather bound two ring binder with "University of Notre Dame Notre Dame, Indiana" in embossed lettering on front cover. Interior includes numerous handwritten pages with all manner of football related content, diagrams, proposed plays, and game accounts. Based on research it is quite likely that the offered book includes accounts dating this piece between Knute Rockne's final game on Dec. 6, 1930 and his fatal plane crash on March 31, 1931.
