Description: 1903 World Series folk art decorated baseball by George Sosnak. Highly detailed hand decorated baseball covered on all panels with text and illustrations relating to the first World Series played in the modern-era between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Boston Red Sox. Includes boxscores, team logos, Pirates player in uniform identified as Deacon Phillipe, and text relaying pertinent information. Exceptionally well executed in his inimitable style and signed in print, "by Geo Sosnak 1972." Little to no mentionable wear.
