Lot Number: 449

Description: Incredibly rare 1915 World Series program (at Philadelphia). Original program issued for game played at the Baker Bowl, scored neatly in pencil for Game 2 which was played October 9. Binding remains near fully intact with the slightest hint of separation at bottom mentioned for accuracy as is the touch of wear at corners/edges. Front cover has pencil marking at top and mild hue of toning throughout. There are a few light surface wrinkles/creases to both front and back. Interior remains clean with pre-printed lineups. A faint vertical center fold has been well pressed out in flat storage for over a century. An incredible rarity being offered for the first time publicly represents one of only two examples which we can confirm to have surfaced (the other also offered within this sale): EX-EX/MT with note to pencil marks, NM-MT interior
